Lynne Bechervaise – Biography
Story Boat Series
Lynne has been developing her sculpted boats, peopled with figures, birds, fish, animals & plant forms. They are informed by her experiences with indigenous people, her studies, inner journey & dreams.
Each vessel is unique. They are stylized & archetypal & representative of rites of passage. Her work also shows our connection to “All our Relations” the wingeds, 4 leggeds, swimmers & all growing things.
These experiences & connection to all living beings has also permeated her sculptures of figures, creatures, & her printmaking.
